Support the Northeastern Sailing Team in raising funds to keep practicing at the MIT Sailing Pavilion!
The Northeastern Club Sailing Team has been practicing at MIT's Wood Sailing Pavilion on the Charles River since 1940. This incredible venue offers us access to MIT's two new fleets of boats, allowing us to practice at one of the most challenging college sailing venues and compete against some of the top collegiate teams in the country. Over the past few years, our team has experienced remarkable growth—not only in numbers but also in performance and rankings. Our Women's Team made history by qualifying for the College Sailing National Championship for the first time in 2022, and we've proudly qualified again in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, this past year, our Open Team qualified for the Nationals for the first time ever, marking another significant milestone for our club. We believe that practicing at MIT has been key to our continued success.
With an increase in our contract costs, we are seeking your support to help cover these additional expenses. Your contributions will enable us to allocate more of our budget towards competing at Nationals and hosting our biannual Oberg Trophy Regatta. Together, we can keep the momentum going and achieve even greater heights!
