Northeastern's annual charity dance competition is back!
Dance 4 Me 2021
Join UTSAV, PDPsi, ASU, KASA, Barkada, SYZ, VSA, KPL, Eon Dance Troupe, NUIDC, Rangila, Revolve, Nakhraas, Kinematix, NEBC, BU Suno, and Tufts Tamasha for a dance-filled night of entertainment! Watch to see which groups are crowned Best Dance Team, Best Student Group, and Crowd Favorite. Take a break from studying, bring your friends, sit back, and enjoy.
All proceeds from the show will go to Project Stree, a non-profit organization that aims to empower Indian women by increasing awareness about hygiene habits and challenging the stigma around women's health. Since 2019, 6,985 pads have been donated serving 2,040 women and girls from 16 different communities. They also work in remote villages in Gujarat, India to host menstrual hygiene workshops. By donating to this organization, we hope to have a direct impact on the lives of beautiful young girls and raise awareness on this issue. This past Diwali in 2020, Project Stree organized a donation drive to bring a little light into the lives of underserved families in Idar, Gujarat. With your help, we were able to raise almost $2,500 which went directly to Diwali care packages that were personally delivered by our team in India. These packages included sweets, masks, oil lamps, stationery for school, rangoli stickers, and of course sanitary pads!
