All proceeds from the show will go to Saheli Boston, a non-profit organization that aims to empower South Asian and Arab women and families to lead safe and healthy lives. Saheli, which means ‘friend’ in Hindi, offers non-judgmental culturally sensitive services to domestic and sexual violence survivors from South Asia, Middle East and North Africa. Saheli’s trained domestic violence advocates bring cultural and linguistic competency and speak several South Asian languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Nepali, and Arabic. All of Saheli’s services are free and confidential.
