Women's Ice Hockey Team Locker Room Renovation
The Northeastern women’s hockey team is coming off of celebrating its 40th year in history and one of the greatest years in program history! Rooted in tradition, school spirit, and competitive excellence, the women's ice hockey team continues to build upon its long and successful history. Names like Brooke Whitney, Florence Schelling, and Kendall Coyne-Schofield are just a few that come to mind among the many talented athletes and coaches that have graced historic Matthews Arena with their presence & impact.
With 40 years behind them, the team has set a fundraising goal of $40,000 from alumni, family, and friends. This is an opportunity to unite the women’s hockey base and make an impact for the program now and into the future. Your generous gift—no matter the size—helps to advance the program legacy.
The proceeds from this project enable the renovation and revitalization of our locker room from floor to ceiling. Custom-built lockers will significantly enhance the space, comfort and functionality and enhance the player experience in a meaningful way.
