Singing for Silid Aralan Benefit Concert
Each year, NU Barkada holds a benefit concert where students performers showcase their talents to raise money for charity. This year, we are partnering with the P.U.S.O. Foundation to fundraise for “Silid Aralan”, a project supporting education in the Philippines.
Silid Aralan, meaning classroom in Tagalog, helps students struggling in school due to lack of supplies and accessibility. Children are provided with colored pencils and notebooks that haven’t had access to before. Over the course of the pandemic, they have also paid for students phone plans which are essential for attending class remotely over phone calls.
